Watch Ky. Officers Catch Woman Dangling from Roof in Fire

Kentucky police officers rescued a woman who was dangling from the roof of burning structure.

The Louisville Police Department released body camera footage from the Sept. 8 incident. According to the department, an officer spotted a burning building and called dispatch.

Once two other officers reached the scene, they found a woman trapped on the second-floor roof.

"Jump down to us," the officers are heard telling the woman in the video.

Finally, the woman jumped, and she was caught by officers. She was treated at the scene for minor injuries, WDRB-TV reports.

The department said that all the officers who were part of the rescue will receive nominations for Distinguished Lifesaving awards.
